We felt the need to do something a little less pretty and more unhinged. Jeremy David Miller opens and DJ Edd Reynolds is spinning a deep cut country set before closing out the night with disco for our debut show on April 5th. We will be joined by bandmates Ed Sullivan on bass, Doug Askham on guitar and Lewis Holland on drums, who are fantastic folks we’ve met playing in this hidden gem music town. Rachel Swain is the child of two working musicians, and originally from Austin. You can hear elements of her early years in @roxyswain and beloved local band @the.swains.band (See them at @fitzgeraldsnightclub American Music Festival July 3-6) She’s also working on a new album and if we’re lucky some of those songs will be part of our set. Jules Klee, hails from a town sandwiched between Amish Country and Cleveland Ohio, growing up on top 40 crooners and her Dad’s music collection, until discovering the OG songwriters that predated her birth. Her songs “Talk” and “Hook Sung by Strangers” have been featured in film and commercial soundtracks. As a backing vocalist and session singer, her vocals can be heard on recordings with Joe Pug and Colin Gilmore.
